Reck­less driver ar­rested

A reck­less driver has been ar­rested in Sabahiya. Se­cu­rity sources said that two of the pas­sen­gers on board were wanted for rob­bery and drug re­lated cases. In an­other de­vel­op­ment, a reck­less driver who was cel­e­brat­ing rain­fall in his own way nar­rowly es­caped death when fire broke out in his ve­hi­cle in Saad Al-Ab­dul­lah.

Kuwaiti kid­napped

A fe­male cit­i­zen re­cently re­ported that two uniden­ti­fied peo­ple had kid­napped her from the doorsteps of her house in Salmiya and took her to Jabriya where they tried to rape her. The girl said three Kuwaitis heard her scream­ing - and chased the kid­nap­pers’ all the way to Jabriya. A case was filed and search is on for the kid­nap­pers.

Policeman files com­plaint

A traf­fic policeman re­cently filed a com­plaint against a fe­male cit­i­zen who in­sulted him af­ter he is­sued her a ticket for park­ing in a no-park­ing zone in Nu­gra.

Maid and cleaner

A cit­i­zen called po­lice af­ter he heard a strange noise at his house­maid’s room. When the po­lice ar­rived, they saw the maid along side with an Asian cleaner. They were both ar­rested.

Smash­ing cars

A Kuwaiti was re­cently ar­rested while his two com­pan­ions man­aged to es­cape ar­rest when a po­lice pa­trol spot­ted them walk­ing around in Maidan Hawalli and smash­ing parked ve­hi­cles’ wind­shields. They were found to be heav­ily drunk. Sep­a­rately, two ju­ve­niles were re­cently ar­rested in Far­waniya for smash­ing ve­hi­cles’ win­dows and steal­ing, said se­cu­rity sources.

Trans­sex­u­als ar­rested

De­tec­tives have ar­rested four trans­sex­u­als in Ah­madi area. They were ac­cused of pro­vid­ing in­de­cent ser­vices at a spa.

Saudi es­capes death

A Saudi man re­cently es­caped death when a land­mine blew up be­low his ve­hi­cle while he was driv­ing in the Kah­bara AlAwazem desert. Se­cu­rity sources said that the man did not hear the ex­plo­sion be­cause of the rain and thun­der. He only no­ticed it when his ve­hi­cle stopped mov­ing. He found out that the tires have been com­pletely de­stroyed. — Al-Rai/Al-An­baa
