Youth Theater fes­ti­val con­cluded its 11th edition on Thurs­day, with seven troupes dis­play­ing their works on stage since Novem­ber 22. The play ‘Sneeze’ for the Kuwaiti Theater troupe won best over­all the­atri­cal work, and its di­rec­tor Ab­dul­lah Al-Turku­mani won best di­rec­tor award.’Raya and Sa­keena’ won award for best har­mo­nized play, while play­wright Mariam Nasser won best au­thor for ‘Mem­ory in the Shadow’. Ali Al-Hus­seini won best ac­tor in a lead­ing role in ‘Raya and Sa­keena’, while Heba Al-Durri won best ac­tress in a lead­ing role for ‘Ma­ja­reeh’, or the ‘Wounded’. Young Nouf AlSul­tan won best ac­tress in a sup­port­ing role, while Bader AlShuaibi won best ac­tor in a sup­port­ing role. Best light­ing award went to Ab­dul­lah Al-Nas­sar, best promis­ing ac­tor award went to Rawan Al-Mahdi, while di­rec­tor Me­shari AlMu­jaibel won the­atri­cal cre­ativ­ity award.
