Two fight over park­ing spot

A fight broke out be­tween two fe­male cit­i­zens in Fin­tas over park­ing, prompt­ing their hus­bands to in­ter­vene and sep­a­rate them. The men then ar­gued and ex­changed blows. Neigh­bors called po­lice, who took them to the po­lice sta­tion for ques­tion­ing.

Reck­less driv­ing

An­other fight be­tween two cit­i­zens in Ah­madi was bro­ken up by po­lice. The fight started when a man was driv­ing reck­lessly in front of the other’s house and dam­aged the win­dows of his car with flying gravel. Both men were taken to the po­lice sta­tion and charged with fight­ing. The reck­less driver was is­sued sev­eral tick­ets for his ac­tions and his car was im­pounded.

Camp theft

Two thieves stole the con­tents of a camp in­clud­ing a gen­er­a­tor and elec­tron­ics in Ab­daly desert, ac­cord­ing to the com­plaint of the camp owner at Jahra po­lice sta­tion. He said the two threat­ened the Asian guard. Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.

At­tempted kid­nap

A fe­male cit­i­zen told po­lice that while on the way to join her fam­ily in a camp, a man drove next to her and yelled “join us”, but she ig­nored him. He then at­tempted to force her to stop, but she turned around to avoid him. He still fol­lowed her, so she drove to the po­lice sta­tion, prompt­ing him to flee. The woman gave po­lice the sus­pect’s li­cense plate num­ber.

Drug pos­ses­sion

Far­waniya po­lice no­ticed a taxi driver ob­struct­ing traf­fic in Ard­hiya, so he was stopped. An Egyp­tian pas­sen­ger who was with him es­caped, while the Bangladeshi driver was seen throw­ing out an en­ve­lope sus­pected of con­tain­ing drugs. He claimed that a man gave it to him to de­liver it to the Egyp­tian. He was sent to the Drugs Con­trol Gen­eral Depart­ment. —Al-Rai
