IWG cel­e­brates New Year at Crowne Plaza Ho­tel

Pres­i­dent of IWG, Elena Solo­matina spouse of Rus­sian am­bas­sador told Kuwait Times that the International Women’s Group cel­e­brat­ing Christ­mas and New Year. The event will show an amaz­ing per­for­mance of a Rus­sian band came di­rectly from Rus­sia to Kuwait. This year we had a paint­ing and a cook­ing work­shop and we de­cided to keep that go­ing, she said.

For her part, Nar­jes Al-Shatti, Board Mem­ber of the International Women’s Group, said ev­ery year since we started, the International Women’s Group cel­e­brates Christ­mas and the New Year in De­cem­ber by host­ing a din­ner for its mem­bers, with some en­ter­tain­ing events held dur­ing the event. Tonight, IWG says farewell to 2016 and wel­comes 2017 with lots of pray­ing and wish­ing for peace to Kuwait and all peo­ple around the world.

She added, There will be a surprise in the Na­tional Day in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Na­tional Coun­cil for Cul­ture and Arts in Fe­bru­ary 2017, as well we will co­op­er­ate with the tourism de­part­ment of the Min­istry of In­for­ma­tion, in or­ga­niz­ing an event for pub­lic to show international dishes around from all over the world in Souk Al Ba­har.

Shatti re­vealed that IWG will go on a trip to Oman and the Omani am­bas­sador will plan our trip. We also were in­vited to visit Ta­jik­istan and Uzbek­istan Kaza­khstan to see the Nowruz cel­e­bra­tion. The event fea­tured a show by a fa­mous Rus­sian band per­for­mance, then the International Women’s Group pre­sented guests with gifts.
