Zain holds sec­ond in­ter­nal Blood Drive cam­paign of the year

Zain, the lead­ing telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions com­pany in Kuwait, re­cently held an in­ter­nal Blood Drive cam­paign for its em­ploy­ees for the sec­ond time this year. The cam­paign was held in part­ner­ship with the Cen­tral Blood Bank of Kuwait. The ini­tia­tive, held at the com­pany’s main head­quar­ters in Shuwaikh, is held sev­eral times an­nu­ally as part of Zain’s Cor­po­rate Sus­tain­abil­ity and So­cial Re­spon­si­bil­ity strat­egy to­wards the health of its em­ploy­ees. The cam­paign also aims at en­cour­ag­ing blood do­na­tion and sav­ing lives, and wit­nessed pos­i­tive feed­back and par­tic­i­pa­tion from Zain em­ploy­ees.

Zain’s sup­port of blood drive cam­paigns shows its keen­ness in hav­ing a pro­duc­tive role in so­cial and health ac­tiv­i­ties, es­pe­cially those that con­trib­ute with sav­ing peo­ple that are in ur­gent need of blood, par­tic­u­larly peo­ple with rare blood types. Zain strives to con­trib­ute to its com­mu­nity through its nu­mer­ous cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity ini­tia­tives and is pleased with the suc­cess this par­tic­u­lar ac­tiv­ity has achieved.

The com­pany is keen to or­ga­nize in­ter­nal blood drive cam­paigns for em­ploy­ees in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Cen­tral Blood Bank to en­cour­age em­ploy­ees to do­nate blood and save lives. Zain af­firmed that its con­tri­bu­tion to or­ga­niz­ing in­ter­nal blood drives falls un­der its CSSR strate­gies.

Zain’s solid Cor­po­rate Sus­tain­abil­ity and So­cial Re­spon­si­bil­ity strat­egy pri­mar­ily fo­cuses on the well­be­ing of the en­tire na­tion. For this rea­son, the com­pany has main­tained its sup­port of nu­mer­ous ini­tia­tives that spread aware­ness and help make a dif­fer­ence to peo­ple’s ev­ery­day lives.
