Kozhikode District Association Mahilavedi holds free medical camp

Kozhikode District Association Mahilavedi conducted Free Medical Camp on 2nd December 2016 at Pakistan English School and College, Abbasiya for the benefit of public and the members in association with the Indian Doctors Forum, Kuwait. The camp was also supported by Kuwait Heart Foundation and Indian Dentists Alliance in Kuwait. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Mishra, the Joint General Secretary, IDF and the function was presided over by Mahilavedi President Vanisree Santhosh.

Dr. Sayed Rehman-IDF Community Secretary, Dr Subu Thomas-IDAK, Navaf- Warba Medical Supplies Company, Kozhikode District Association President, E. Rajagopalan, General Secretary, Ramakrishnan M, Association Patron Santhakumar. and Mahilavedi Secretary Reeja Santhosh addressed the gathering. Association Treasurer Haneef. C, Patron Aboobacker, Vice-Presidents Sidharthan K M and Shyjith K, Mahilavedi Treasurer Neena Rajagopal and Medical Camp General Convener Biji Ramakrishnan also graced the occasion. Organizations and individuals that offered great support for the camp were honoured by presenting mementos.

Large number of people got benefited from this noble service organized by Mahilavedi. Doctors from various departments such as General Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Oncology, Dermatology, Dental, Physiotherapy etc. offered their free service from 8 am to 1 pm. Around fifteen paramedical staff also rendered their service for the smooth functioning of the camp. Cholesterol check-Up by Kuwait Heart Foundation, Blood Sugar Test by Warba Medical Supplies Company, Vision Test, and ECG facility were other attractions of the Medical Camp.

Welcome speech was delivered by the Medical Camp General Convener Mrs. Biji Ramakrishnan and vote of thanks was proposed by Mahilavedi Treasurer Mrs Neena Rajagopal.
