23,663 liquor bottles destroyed

KUWAIT: Over two days, 23,663 liquor bottles were destroyed under the supervision of the Director General of the Interior Ministry’s Investigations General Department Maj Gen Dr Fahd Al-Dousary and his Deputy Maj Gen Asaad Al-Ruwayeh. Dousary said that a team of 15 members worked over two months to account and document the haul.

No injuries

Farwaniya Fire Department responded to a call about a fire in a restaurant, which was put out and kept from spreading to nearby buildings. No injuries were reported. A case was filed to investigate the cause of the fire.

New exits

The Interior Ministry’s Traffic General Department announced the opening of new exits on Jahra Road for Saad Al-Abdullah City across block 11. The opening will be on Saturday.
