23,663 liquor bot­tles de­stroyed

KUWAIT: Over two days, 23,663 liquor bot­tles were de­stroyed un­der the su­per­vi­sion of the Di­rec­tor Gen­eral of the In­te­rior Min­istry’s In­ves­ti­ga­tions Gen­eral De­part­ment Maj Gen Dr Fahd Al-Dousary and his Deputy Maj Gen Asaad Al-Ruwayeh. Dousary said that a team of 15 mem­bers worked over two months to ac­count and doc­u­ment the haul.

No in­juries

Far­waniya Fire De­part­ment re­sponded to a call about a fire in a restau­rant, which was put out and kept from spread­ing to nearby build­ings. No in­juries were re­ported. A case was filed to in­ves­ti­gate the cause of the fire.

New ex­its

The In­te­rior Min­istry’s Traf­fic Gen­eral De­part­ment an­nounced the open­ing of new ex­its on Jahra Road for Saad Al-Ab­dul­lah City across block 11. The open­ing will be on Satur­day.
