VIVA con­cludes Real Madrid & Man Utd soc­cer schools cer­e­mony

VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-grow­ing and most de­vel­oped tele­com op­er­a­tor, or­ga­nized a clos­ing cer­e­mony for VIVA Real Madrid and VIVA United Soc­cer Schools 2016. Cer­e­mony in­cluded an ex­cit­ing friendly match be­tween both academies at Cor­ner field near Kuwait Tow­ers. Play­ers’ par­ents, rel­a­tives and friends were present amid large au­di­ence.

Field’s ex­cit­ing at­mos­phere was sim­i­lar to the Old Traf­ford sta­dium and the San­ti­ago Bern­abeu sta­dium, and play­ers showed in­di­vid­ual high skills, and VIVA Real Madrid’s team won 2-0.

Com­ment­ing on this oc­ca­sion, Ab­dul­raz­zaq Al-Essa, Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Di­rec­tor at VIVA said: “We are hon­ored at VIVA to have been able to sup­port these young ath­letes in bring­ing them closer to their dream of be­com­ing pro­fes­sional foot­ball play­ers. And this cer­e­mony was or­ga­nized in recog­ni­tion of their com­mit­ment and pas­sion.”

Real Madrid Soc­cer School play­ers (16) par­tic­i­pated in train­ing camp in Septem­ber 2016, at Real Madrid Acad­emy’s ground in Valde­be­bas sport city. Manch­ester United Soc­cer School play­ers (16) par­tic­i­pated in train­ing camp at Manch­ester United’s Cliff Train­ing ground, in July 2016. The train­ing pro­gram in­cluded sev­eral work­shops and ac­tiv­i­ties ed­u­cat­ing the play­ers on the best ma­neu­vers, at­tacks, dif­fer­ent sce­nar­ios and con­di­tioned games. The pro­gram also fo­cused on dif­fer­ent tech­ni­cal ar­eas, such as drib­bling, short pass­ing, turn­ing and fin­ish­ing. At the end, Al-Essa rec­og­nized all play­ers, coaches and referees.

VIVA an­nounced its spon­sor­ship for Manch­ester United in 2011 for five years, and for Real Madrid in 2014 for five years as well, to of­fer the op­por­tu­nity to the fans of both teams to be closer to the most fa­mous soc­cer teams in the word through ex­clu­sive offers and pro­mo­tions.
