AL-Man­fohi to con­front food ir­reg­u­lar­i­ties firmly

Eng. Ah­mad AL-Man­fohi, The Di­rec­tor of the mu­nic­i­pal­ity as­sured that the mu­nic­i­pal­ity is very as­sid­u­ous to­ward the health and safety of the cit­i­zens. This is by in­ten­si­fied the in­spec­tions on the food shops, restau­rants, gro­ceries, malls, stores, and sell­ing/trad­ing food cen­ters by in­spec­tors. The in­spec­tion is by group of in­spec­tors and emer­gency group by six gov­er­norates on all fields. AL-Man­fohi added also to in­ten­sify the in­spec­tion more on the sell­ing/trad­ing food cen­ters, by the com­pe­tent de­part­ments and the need for vig­i­lance of its in­spec­tors to mon­i­tor vi­o­la­tions and to take ac­tion, due to the in­tense in­spec­tion cam­paign on all food shop, restau­rants, gro­ceries, malls, stores, and sell­ing/trad­ing food cen­ters.

AL-Man­fohi re­vealed from the press state­ment that the con­tin­u­ing in­spec­tion vicin­ity on the stores for dif­fer­ent ac­tiv­i­ties car­ried out by dif­fer­ent de­part­ments and su­per­vi­sion on all lev­els from mu­nic­i­pal­ity branch, with emer­gency team from the six gov­er­norates, dur­ing the two pe­ri­ods morn­ing and evening; to the sure the health and safety of all cit­i­zens and all who lives on this kind land is the first priority. The mu­nic­i­pal­ity will not tol­er­ate poor souls from the spoiled food traders for their pro­mo­tion of a spoiled food that could af­fect the users of that food. Eng. Am­mar AL-Am­mar, The mu­nic­i­pal­ity man­ager of the AL-Asimah branch the ful­fill­ment of the emer­gency team, re­move ir­reg­u­lar­i­ties de­part­ment, pub­lic clean­ing sur­veil­lance from the mu­nic­i­pal­ity’s AL-Asimah branch.

In­spec­tion cam­paigns by sur­prise on the food stores in AL-Rai and AL-Shuwaikh till the third day con­tin­u­a­tion, which re­sulted with con­fis­ca­tion and de­struc­tion 34.5 tons from spoiled food, 12596 min­eral water bot­tle, 8 stores and gro­ceries and 68 vi­o­la­tions also in­sured that the in­spec­tion on shops are con­tin­u­ing all the times. Am­mar also added that the sur­veil­lance team of the AL-Asimah mu­nic­i­pal­ity has a huge at­ten­tion on in­spec­tion on the stores, shops, restau­rants, sell­ing/trad­ing food cen­ters to as­sure to­ward the health and safety of the cit­i­zens, ac­cord­ing to the rules and reg­u­la­tions of the mu­nic­i­pal­ity es­tab­lished by the mu­nic­i­pal­ity in this par­tic­u­lar. Tariq AL-Qat­tan stated that his team was con­tin­u­ing for three days straight on in­spec­tions in Shuwaikh, which has started within to­day at 6 in the morn­ing and ended at 6 in the evening. Which re­sulted with con­fis­ca­tion and de­struc­tion of a spoiled food in­clud­ing Legumes “lentils crushed, and a spoiled chicken and shrimps. 3 Vi­o­la­tions be­cause of stor­ing spoiled food.

AL-Qat­tan clar­i­fied that from the start of the cam­paign for in­spec­tion they con­fis­ca­tion and de­struc­tion 14.5 of spoiled food and the re­sult of the in­spec­tion of to­tal days was: first day 4 ton, sec­ond day 9 ton, and the third day 1.5 ton; Also con­fis­ca­tion and de­struc­tion of 12596 min­eral water bot­tle ex­pired from it 8200 small min­eral water bot­tle 330ml and 3496 large min­eral water bot­tle 1.5L, clos­ing 5 stores with 10 ran­dom vi­o­la­tions. Eng. Ab­dul­lah Jaber that the in­spec­tion in con­tin­u­ing and the team B to raid stores in Shuwaikh, which re­sulted with con­fis­ca­tion and de­struc­tion 16 ton of spoiled food apart of it 2000 bucket of olives 8 kg and 20 vi­o­la­tions from it 8 spoiled food and 12 ad­ver­tise­ment vi­o­la­tions. And shift B with C they re­sulted with con­fis­ca­tion and de­struc­tion 4 ton from them 900 kg il­le­gal food and clos­ing 3 stores, gro­ceries; and 58 vi­o­la­tion from them 16 food ir­reg­u­lar­i­ties.
