Horeca Cooking Club invests in Kuwaiti youth’s potentials: Anjeri

Organizers of the Horeca 2017 exhibition are putting the final touches to host the event which takes place on 16-18 of January 2017 at the Kuwait Internatio­nal Fairground in Mishref. On that regard, Nabila Al-Anjeri, General Manager of the event’s organizer Leaders Group, said that the event is set to include several activities, including the ‘Horeca Cooking Club,’ which will be a new platform that contribute­s in investing in Kuwaiti youth’s potentials, and encouragin­g them to start new lines of business. “Hotel rooms’ capacity in Kuwait is expected to increase to over 10,000 within three years, while restaurant­s are expected increase to over 5,000 in the same period,” Anjeri stressed, noting that Horeca is the perfect platform to set special strategies and plans to cope with this expansion.

Meanwhile, Fatima Al-Hubail the Horeca Cooking Club’s supervisor, said that the exhibition visitors’ are on a date to be amazed by what the club’s team plans to showcase, including new ideas and visions on learning cooking skills.

Hubail added that the club aims at attracting those eager for knowledge and productivi­ty as well as giving participat­ing young people opportunit­ies to communicat­e with raw material importers as well as the companies importing various cooking equipment. “The club will be the base of encouragin­g youth to start mega projects and businesses,” she added, noting that some young people might, for instance, excel in baking cakes, while others are more experience­d in desserts or cooking, and might thus seek to start an integrated project of a family business.

Horeca 2017 exhibition is organized by Leaders Group in collaborat­ion with Hospitalit­y Services Company, and takes place under the patronage of Minister of Informatio­n, State Minister for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah.
