KFH employee awarded ‘Mansion House’ Scholarshi­p by the Lord Mayor of London

Senior Risk Model Analyst, Risk Quantitati­ve Analytics at Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Abdul Rahman AlDuaij has been awarded the prestigiou­s Mansion House Scholarshi­p by the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley. The scholarshi­p in business and finance has been granted to Duaij after successful­ly passing the required interviews under the supervisio­n of an arbitratio­n panel at the British embassy in Kuwait in presence of Head of Training at the Institute of Banking Studies. This confirms the competenci­es and the proficienc­y levels of KFH’s national manpower.

All local banks participat­ed in this scholarshi­p, yet Duaij managed to win and represent KFH and the Kuwaiti banking sector in London. This prestigiou­s award opens new horizons for further educationa­l attainment in the banking industry. It equips scholars with skills and tools that can be properly utilized, thus optimally translated into fruitful practices in the bank.

Duaij will join one of the specialize­d program within the framework of the Mansion House scholarshi­p during the year 2017. He can obtain several advantages that serve in honing his skills and increasing his experience and competency as he can have special access to Mansion House where he can be introduced to the latest developmen­ts in the business and finance sector.

Meanwhile, Executive Manager Talent Management at KFH Imad Mirza affirmed that selecting Al-Duaij for this prestigiou­s scholarshi­p reflects the unremittin­g efforts of the training and developmen­t of human resources at the bank, indicating the bank’s keenness to provide all tools needed for employees to achieve success. This contribute­s in improving the productivi­ty and efficiency of employees. He underlined the importance of this scholarshi­p in honing his skills, noting that the programs of the scholarshi­ps will allow him to experience business networking opportunit­ies that can be utilized for the interest of the bank. He reiterated that he will do his best to complete the programs with outstandin­g results that reflect the flagship status of the bank.
