Nasser Mohamemd Al-Sayer Foodstuff Company joins Horeca
KUWAIT: Preparations for the Horeca Kuwait 2017 exhibition are steadily progressing, and the event is attracting more companies to take part, since it is an event which provides a golden opportunity to exchange expertise to meet the local market’s needs and future expansion plans.
In this regard, Nasser Mohamemd Al-Sayer Foodstuff Company announced its intention to join other companies specialized in hospitality, hotel equipment, catering, transportation, cooking gas and design, which have already signed up to take part in Horeca Kuwait 2017 exhibition.
Speaking on the occasion, Al-Sayer Company’s Commercial Manager Abdul Kareem Waheed said that Al-Sayer’s refreshments factory was established in 1977, and that it started by acting as the exclusive agent of RC Cola, Maaza and Club Soda brands. At the same time, the factory won the franchise rights to bottle Royal Crown and Magic energy beverages.
Waheed added that the factory then started manufacturing Pet Cups of Alza juices and bottled water, as well as Kix and DNA power beverages. The factory was awarded the ISO 9001, ISO214001, HACCP2 and OHSAS 18001 awards, he added.
Nasser Mohammed Al-Sayer Foodstuff Company (WLL) was founded in 1958 and started as a wholesale company distributing foodstuff mainly imported from Europe and the Middle East such as Loaker, Astra, Cavalier, Cedrinic and Banat brands, Waheed noted. “Ever since its establishment, the company has come a long way through its strict and healthy storage systems as well as the distribution of its products in fully-refrigerated trucks that keeps food fresh,” he added.
Waheed also noted that Al-Sayer has a long experience in providing the Kuwaiti markets with kitchens and kitchen equipment since 1994, adding that it is the exclusive agent of Modular, True, Alma, Bezzera, Ordao, Franke, Caplain, Corec and Hamilton Beach products.
Horeca Kuwait 2017 has so far attracted over 80 companies due to display their products in the presence of a group of international experts and chefs and a large group of company and hotel owners. The exhibition is organized by Leaders Group in collaboration with Hospitality Services Company at Kuwait International Fairgrounds in Mishref on January 16-18, 2017.
