Box Hill Kuwait defines the concept of ‘Women College’ Providing the best educational environment for females
Deep-rooted traditions in Kuwait make families feel comfortable with the idea of “Women College” and that is what Box Hill College-Kuwait (BHCK) provides. “Many Women feel that BHCK is a perfect place to express themselves freely. Box Hill College Kuwait (BHCK) is the sole private higher education institute exclusive to women in Kuwait, founded in 2007. It operates as an extended campus of Box Hill Institute (BHI), Australia. “BHCK offers six diploma programs in the fields of Management, Marketing, Banking Services Management, Graphic Design, Interior Design and Decoration and Website Development. The programs are accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework and by the Kuwait Private Universities Council and Ministry of Higher Education. BHCK offers students pathways to employment as well as undergraduate degree programs through transfer and articulation agreements with local Kuwaiti Universities. The Australian Qualification Framework establishes a set of standards which assures nationally consistent, highquality educational programs for those studying within the Australian system,” Professor Arifa commented.
Professor Arifa explained that BHCK is unique in its friendly and caring environment. “Here at BHCK we all know each other by name, every student gets individual attention by faculty members and management,” he said. “Five hundred students are currently studying in BHCK. We consider ourselves as a big family. We are small and small is good.”
All nationalities
Box Hill College Kuwait accept students from all nationalities and provides honor students with special financial arrangements to make sure that everyone gets a chance to learn and prosper.
The program disciplines currently offered by BHCK require two years of post-secondary full time study exclusive of any preparatory requirements. Adding “BHCK graduates earn same qualification earned by BHI graduates where they can continue further their studies at BHI, Australia, and get their credits transferred automatically.”
The special about BHCK, is also we have the teaching hours is more civilize than other colleges; the classes will finish at 3 pm unless students are enrolled in evening program.

Professor Arifa is currently the President of Box Hill College - Kuwait. He graduated with a PhD degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, in 1996. He previously served at Kuwait University as a Faculty Member in the College of Business administration, as the Chairman of its AACSB maintenance of accreditation, and as the Director of its affiliated Business Administration Consulting Unit-Center of Excellence in Management. He also served in several Universities in different countries.
