Gulf Bank’s ‘Catch the Cash’ competition a big success

Al-Danah Millionaire Draw sets Guinness World Records

Gulf Bank’s highly anticipated Al Danah Millionaire Draw not only was the largest draw event in Kuwait, but it has also set a new Guinness World Records Achievement for the “largest prize linked to a bank account” in the world through its KD 1 Million Al-Danah prize! Al-Danah Millionaire Draw took place on January 5, 2017 at the Avenues. At this year’s event, Gulf Bank revealed its ‘Catch the Cash’ competition, another first-ever event in Kuwait. The competition was open to all, but you had to be present in order to participate. Participants were randomly selected to play the game throughout the draw event and it was enjoyed by players and attendees. Participation was free of charge; participants needed to just register at the registration desk next to the stage at Grand Avenues.

The game was simple, but fun and entertaining, contestants stepped inside the money box and tried to catch as many flying notes as they could in 10 seconds. Those notes were then counted on stage by hosts “Weld Al Deera” Khaled Al Agrooga, Khaled Al Ansari, Gulf Bank team member Mohammad Al Sarraf, and Ministry of Commerce representative Abdulaziz Ashkanani.
