ABK sponsors LOYAC’s 5th blood donation drive

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) announced its sponsorship of the Lothan Youth Achievement Center’s (LOYAC) 5th Blood Donation Drive for the second consecutive year. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Jan 21, 2017, and will commence with a bike motorcade that will start from the LOYAC offices in Al Qibliya School and end at the Dasman Diabetes Institution. The bikers participating in the motorcade will be donating blood upon arrival at the Dasman Diabetes Center, which will also be open to the public for interested donors.

Commenting on this sponsorship, Fawzy Al Thunayan GM, Board Affairs said: “At ABK we firmly believe in the importance of supporting initiatives that encourage individuals to contribute and make a life changing difference. By sponsoring the Blood Donation Drive, we are raising awareness among the public, and hope to elevate the spirit of giving and coming together to donate blood in support of those who need it the most. LOYAC is a nonprofit organization that works toward the overall development of the youth. It designs and develops many programs to facilitate the professional development and personal growth of the youth, ages 6 to 30.
