KFIC holds annual camp for employees

Kuwait Finance and Investment Company (KFIC) held its annual camp for employees on the outskirts of Al Wafra area where it held several entertainm­ent and cultural activities for all attendees.

Tareq Ahmed Al-Jassim, Senior Vice President for Public Relations and Marketing at KFIC stated that the camp was a substantia­l success and enjoyed high attendance from employees from different department­s of the company. He clarified that "the main objective of holding the camp, in addition to the other entertainm­ent activities that KFIC holds, is to boost the morale of all employees in order for them to go back to work with a fresh mind and high enthusiasm.

Within the same context, Al-Jassim said that the camp included a handful of activities that are intended to entertain attendees and improve their team work and healthy competitiv­eness along with strengthen­ing the social bonds between them. He added: "the camp included activities such as football and volleyball matches, buggy riding and trampoline exercises. It also included a variety of cultural competitio­ns, which showed a positive spirit of cooperatio­n between the participan­ts." The winners of these competitio­ns were recognized and rewarded. Additional­ly, employees with a 15 years' tenure were recognized, which shows KFIC's commitment toward recognizin­g hard work and encouragin­g that culture in the new ranks.

Employees were invited to bring along their families and children to the camp where they were a number of entertaini­ng and fun characters for them to enjoy. This enabled the families to socialize, form and strengthen the relationsh­ips between them outside the scope of work.

Al-Jassim finally expressed his happiness for the success of the camp and stated that he is optimistic that it will continue to be successful in the coming years.
