Minister of Health praises performanc­e level of Al-Salam Hospital, affiliated to KFH

KUWAIT: Minister of Health Jamal Al-Harbi praised the high performanc­e level of Al-Salam internatio­nal Hospital affiliated to Kuwait Finance House (KFH). AlHarbi’s statement came on the sidelines of the inaugurati­on of three medical centers at Al-Salam Internatio­nal Hospital in the presence and participat­ion of KFH Chairman Hamad Abdulmohse­n Al-Marzouq.

The centers are for dentistry, kidney diseases and physical therapy. Al-Harbi indicated that the hospital offers distinguis­hed healthcare services to Kuwaitis who hold AFIA health insurance cards, noting that the new centers have 13 dentistry clinics and 16 kidney dialysis machines equipped with the latest technology. The minister expressed his pleasure with the highqualit­y services provided by Al-Salam Hospital.

Meanwhile, Marzouq accompanie­d the Minister on a tour to explore the developmen­t and expansion work for the new centers that reflect the capacity of the hospital and the appetite to cope with the latest medical technology. He pointed out that KFH boosts support to Al-Salam Internatio­nal Hospital that is considered as a pioneer medical edifice in the private sector.

Al-Salam Internatio­nal Hospital’s CEO Dr Ayman AlMutawa stressed the importance of the role played by private medical institutio­ns in easing the burden on government hospitals and medical centers and helping the health ministry realize its strategy and plans. He viewed private medical institutio­ns as key partners of the government in improving healthcare services in the country.

Mutawa said that the expansion efforts and increasing the capacity of the hospital by establishi­ng 3 medical centers for dentistry, kidney diseases and physical therapy will definitely support the hospital’s goals by offering best services to patients.
