Leaders Group’s General Manager Nabila Al-Anjeri expressed her satisfaction with the success of the Horeca Kuwait 2017 exhibition, saying that it was successful in nurturing Kuwaiti youth. Leaders Group organized the event on January 16-18, 2017, at the Kuwait International Fairground in Mishref, under the patronage of Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem AlHumoud Al-Sabah. Over 80 leading companies specializing in hospitality, food industries, catering, hotel equipment, tourism, shipment and energy took part in the event.

Anjeri added that the exhibition’s supreme organizing committee was keen on attracting young people to participate in various activities during the event, including international cooking competitions, in addition to allowing them to showcase their small and medium projects and take part in volunteering activities. She added that small projects entrepreneurs had wonderful experiences at the event, as they communicated with experts and company owners.

Further, Anjeri said the cooking competitions and cooking workshops held as part of the exhibition presented great opportunities for the youth. She added that large groups of volunteers who took part in the event also proved to be skillful and trustworthy through working in media, supervision and security committees. “They were not only energetic, but also creative,” she underlined urging all government establishments to provide enough care and support for the youth “who are Kuwait’s future.”

Moreover, Anjeri underlined that Horeca 2017’s activities helped create new job opportunities, played a major role in diversifying sources of income and enhanced inter-companies’ cooperation, which would all help boost national economy. “Next year’s Horeca Kuwait exhibition will witness more of such activities designed to support the Kuwaiti youth,” she concluded.
