Eicher vehicles celebrates 16 amazing years in Kuwait
An emerging player in the Kuwait, VE Commercial Vehicles is celebrating 16 years of Eicher branded Trucks and Buses in Kuwait. KAICO, the exclusive distributor for Eicher since year 2001, has been supporting the brand with an excellent infrastructure facility and large sales, service, spare parts network coupled with robust relationship. KAICO is headed by Ashish Tandon, General Manager, the distributorship operations are managed by a team of seasoned professionals who have rich knowledge and experience of the commercial vehicles industry.
On this proud occasion and celebrating India’s 68th Republic Day, KAICO is coming soon with Eicher’s latest product offering. This upcoming truck is a completely new generation range of light &medium duty trucks that is set to change the trucking experience altogether. It is specially designed for emerging premium segment that requires high power and torque combination as well as a greater degree of refinement, sophistication, reliability and performance.
It has a 4 Cylinder 4 Valve E-494 CRS technology engine with Volvo group Engine Management system (EMS) 3.0, which has high processing capability, optimum balance between load demands, fuel efficiency and emissions control with added advantage of quick and guided diagnostics- all leading to high performance, higher uptime and lower maintenance. This truck will come with 2.1 m wide Pegasus based new generation cab.
Mass market segment
This truck has undergone very stringent and grueling test protocols to ensure superior up-time. Extensive testing has been done not only in the labs and on the Volvo Group’s torture track, but also with some of the customers in real conditions and various applications in Kuwait market. The trucks will look to take on the key segments of food distribution, construction, government tenders and contracting which traditionally dominated by the Japanese brands. In addition, it will also address the mass market segment with value features at low cost of ownership.
Eicher has also enriched its footholds in 58 Seater buses which is a Perfect Transportation Partner in the Labour segment. The demo bus for Test Drive is available at the KAICO’s facility in Shuwaikh. The bus comes in many variants like AC/ NAC with double door & HHR seats, AC/ NAC 66 seats with single door & HHR seats
The bus has an aero-dynamic design, attractive looks, ABS, tinted glasses, tubeless tyres & elegant interiors and is powered with a 4.9 litre engine delivering 170 HP and 550 Nm of torque, with an optimized drive-line and clutch boosters ensuring a comfortable drive, low cost of operation and low maintenance. These buses are manufactured in Eicher’s own bus body plant in India and offers ideal transportation solution in Staff/Labor segment to Construction, transport, cleaning and manufacturing companies.
