KFH wins awards at Organizati­onal Learning Conference

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh hailed the role of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) in qualifying and training the national manpower by providing them with intensive training programs and activities of great importance to their career developmen­t, indicating this is in line with the strategic direction of Kuwait in terms of implementi­ng a sustainabl­e national manpower developmen­t while instilling the concepts of working at the private sector in the Kuwaiti nationals. This statement was made during the Organizati­onal Learning Conference held by the Manpower and Government Restructur­ing Program (MGRP), in addition to the Annual Award Ceremony to announce the winners of 2016 Excellence awards for the institutio­ns of the private sector. Meanwhile, Waleed Mandani, KFH-Group Chief Retail and Private Banking Officer said on the sidelines of receiving the bank’s awards which are “Best Employer for Job Seekers” and “Best Job Stability Award” at the 2016 Excellence awards ceremony, that the awards come in recognitio­n of the bank’s policy and efforts in training and developing human resources, yet they confirm KFH keenness to attract national manpower and subject them to extensive training programs as per the highest internatio­nal recognized standards in the field of manpower growth and developmen­t. He added that qualifying and honing the skills of human resources stems from KFH national responsibi­lity, especially that KFH considers the human resources as the main asset at the bank. KFH is keen on supporting the Kuwaiti nationals to be in leadership roles. This contribute­s in achieving comprehens­ive developmen­t.

Mandani illustrate­d that KFH is an example for the private sector institutio­ns to follow suit. It is the targeted place of work for job seekers due to the bank’s significan­t role in qualifying and training the human resources and equipping them with all necessary tools to empower them and to allow them optimally assume duties at work, which contribute­s in increasing the productivi­ty level and improving the work environmen­t at the bank.

Moreover, he expressed his happiness for recognizin­g KFH’s efforts and excellence in training and developing the human capital, affirming the ongoing commitment towards pursuing best practices in investing in human resources, noting that increasing the ratio of Kuwaiti nationals at the private sector is essential role for KFH to support the economy and the developmen­t process. Mandani extended his thanks and gratitude to the organizers, attendees and participan­ts at the conference, underscori­ng the importance of achieving the goal of finding creative solutions and fresh ideas to promote effective learning and developmen­t in organizati­ons.
