KFH wins awards at Organizational Learning Conference
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh hailed the role of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) in qualifying and training the national manpower by providing them with intensive training programs and activities of great importance to their career development, indicating this is in line with the strategic direction of Kuwait in terms of implementing a sustainable national manpower development while instilling the concepts of working at the private sector in the Kuwaiti nationals. This statement was made during the Organizational Learning Conference held by the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP), in addition to the Annual Award Ceremony to announce the winners of 2016 Excellence awards for the institutions of the private sector. Meanwhile, Waleed Mandani, KFH-Group Chief Retail and Private Banking Officer said on the sidelines of receiving the bank’s awards which are “Best Employer for Job Seekers” and “Best Job Stability Award” at the 2016 Excellence awards ceremony, that the awards come in recognition of the bank’s policy and efforts in training and developing human resources, yet they confirm KFH keenness to attract national manpower and subject them to extensive training programs as per the highest international recognized standards in the field of manpower growth and development. He added that qualifying and honing the skills of human resources stems from KFH national responsibility, especially that KFH considers the human resources as the main asset at the bank. KFH is keen on supporting the Kuwaiti nationals to be in leadership roles. This contributes in achieving comprehensive development.
Mandani illustrated that KFH is an example for the private sector institutions to follow suit. It is the targeted place of work for job seekers due to the bank’s significant role in qualifying and training the human resources and equipping them with all necessary tools to empower them and to allow them optimally assume duties at work, which contributes in increasing the productivity level and improving the work environment at the bank.
Moreover, he expressed his happiness for recognizing KFH’s efforts and excellence in training and developing the human capital, affirming the ongoing commitment towards pursuing best practices in investing in human resources, noting that increasing the ratio of Kuwaiti nationals at the private sector is essential role for KFH to support the economy and the development process. Mandani extended his thanks and gratitude to the organizers, attendees and participants at the conference, underscoring the importance of achieving the goal of finding creative solutions and fresh ideas to promote effective learning and development in organizations.
