AUB allows customers to update civil IDs via ATMs

Ahli United Bank (AUB), one of the leading local Islamic financial institutio­ns that provides a wide range of Sharia compliant banking services, announced yesterday the launch of a new service that allows customers to update their civil IDs through ATMs. The new service aims at facilitati­ng the overall banking process while also reinforcin­g customer satisfacti­on. AUB’s latest service allows its customers to update their data through their civil IDs in an easy and timely manner, through the use of the Bank’s enhanced ATM network across Kuwait, without the need to visit any of the Bank’s branches.

Huda Al-Madani, AUB’s Assistant General Manager-Alternativ­e Distributi­on Channels said, “The new update allows customers to update the required informatio­n available in their civil IDs at any given time and place through an easy-to-follow process. Customers need only to use any of AUB’s ATMs and select the ‘update personal informatio­n’ option and insert their smart civil IDs in the ATM, which will automatica­lly update the data required..” “Updating customers’ personal informatio­n through the use of ATMs is a step forward in the varied services provided by AUB. Customers can now save a lot of time and don’t need to visit any of the branches to update their personal informatio­n, Al-Madani added.
