There is a yearning for the stimulation of new ideas this afternoon. Since you have not quite reached your long-term goal, it might be fun to plan your path to completion-create some short-term goals as well. This way, you will stay motivated. Fun with friends this afternoon may mean a lot of laughter and talk of new ideas for entertainment as well as ideas of ways to be useful. Two of you may end up signing up to volunteer at a hospital or some other similar institution. You are happy and pleased with your decision to volunteer. Shopping may happen later this afternoon.

Any confusing problem can be cleared away now. Your activity level is high and your energies will promote positive results-all day long. Your wishes materialize through sheer will. Reward yourself for progress rather than punishing yourself for any imperfections. Choose an activity that you consider fun and soothing this afternoon-like visiting an amusement park, bicycling, skating, etc. You may be sought after for your guidance regarding very personal and emotional issues surrounding a friend. You will be able to be understanding and handle this situation most successfully when you create opportunities for this friend to find his or her own answers. You encourage a positive attitude from yourself as well as those around you.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Today you work harder than usual and feel great about the amount of work you can accomplish. There is an urge to push for success when it comes to the world of high finance. Careful-you might get a bit reckless when it comes to the handling of some financial proposal. Do the regular review and research. A domestic challenge can be settled today and will free you for a more creative expression. Your tact is improving. Learning more about you is becoming an important ongoing investigation. In learning more about your real self, you learn more about humanity. Coming to grips with the past or getting in touch with the mystical and the spiritual gives you a sense of satisfaction and completeness. Many new ideas are waiting for you to assimilate.

This is a time of introspection and evaluation of goals. You may feel lonely and self-critical at this time, but do not be too hard on yourself. Focus your energy on self-discovery instead. For the duration of the morning you may desire peace and quiet in the family setting. Parental instincts may come to the forefront now as you see plenty of opportunities to help others. Everything points to your taking the initiative now. Sacrifices may be the first thing to consider this morning. Your appointment calendar is overflowing and you will need to cancel one or two of your appointments in order to be with unexpected company. You may later discover that there is a possibility to travel out-of-town soon. A business trip may be the reason you get to travel to a distant place and visit with long-lost but not forgotten friends. Careful, if there is too much talk about the trip before you go, you may have to take out a loan when you discover how many people from the family want to go with you. A social event this evening may find you enjoying the company of a new friend-someone who seems to have similar goals. Libra (September 23-October 22)

If there are not strong weather changes present, unnecessarily high emotions may be the stirring you feel. Consider the facts and nothing else this day. You will be very happy by the end of your workday as you look back to discover that the word unnecessary opens a whole new perspective. Travel sets you apart, giving you a new and in some sense revolutionary perspective. Contact with faraway people and places soon plays a bigger role for you this spring. You could be at the attention of your superiors this day. You may find yourself more than a little acquisitive. Your current appreciation for just about everything may lead you to overspend or indulge too much. You will make career gains by your ability to sense quality and choose accordingly. Look for ways in which to rid yourself of the things that do not carry you forward. A fun and unexpected conversation may give you some ideas of new and exciting adventures. You may find yourself guiding a young person with homework, even though you would rather not repeat a particular school lesson. A visitor in your home this evening may compliment you on your tastes.

Aquarius (January 20- February 18)

Get rid of the things in your life that slow you and keep you from accomplishing your goals. Consolidate your efforts and eliminate some of those scattered times in your life that leave you exhausted. You will be learning to streamline your energy by focusing on one thing at a time. You could receive unexpected backing and, in general, your efforts throughout this day are successful. There is a feeling that anything is possible if you set your sights high enough. Your creativity is strong and with your love of antiques, you could take a class or study the art of refinishing furniture.
