KIB strategic sponsor of Al-Farsi Kite Festival

KUWAIT: As part of its diverse program of National Day celebrations, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently provided its strategic sponsorship to Al Farsi Kite Festival 2017, which was held during the period of February 23rd to February 26th in Bneider.

Returning for its 15th year to celebrate National and Liberation days, the festival featured an array of activities - including live entertainment acts, creative workshops and several competitions - offering something for people of all ages. The festival also included 23 international kiting acts from 11 different countries. The bank also took part in flying a giant kite which included the logo. Furthermore, this year’s celebration also featured a special open day hosted by KIB for its customers and staff.

Speaking about KIB’s participation in the event, Nawaf Najia, Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB, said: “KIB is keen on participating in and supporting various national festivities and events, as we always seek to strengthen social bonds between people in our community and promote a greater sense of national pride. Our sponsorship of this festival is a prime example of that, as it has managed to achieve overwhelming success over the past years - garnering a huge following within the community and becoming one of the most eagerly awaited National Day celebrations in Kuwait.”
