IDAK conducts seminar for kids
The Indian Dentists’ Alliance (IDAK) in Kuwait conducted a seminar on ‘Oral Healthcare in Children’ and a screening camp for close to hundred kids of members of Kerala Arts Lovers Association (KALA), a very prominent organization doing exemplary work in social service in Kuwait . The event was organized by the Community Welfare Committee of IDAK , led by its Chairman Prathap Unnithan , who conducted the Dental Health Awareness seminar as well.
The children were educated on the importance of healthy eating, correct brushing techniques, the need to abstain from sugary sodas and energy drinks, to avoid indulgence in junk food and pastries and measures to take in case of an accident or injury involving fracture or loss of teeth. Much of the information provided were new to the audience and the parents expressed extreme appreciation for this commendable service of IDAK. A team of specialist pediatric dentists were made available by IDAK for screening kids and the service highly benefitted the children and parents who attended.
