Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Foundation discusses ways to further strengthen relations with King Khalid Foundation

Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Foundation received a delegation from the supporting partner King Khalid Foundation (KFF), the internatio­nal, Saudi-based, philanthro­pic organizati­on that is dedicated to humanitari­an and developmen­t activities.

The meeting between the two entities was held at Ajman Youth Centre last week in the presence of ABHF’s team, graduates from the Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Leadership Program (ALP) and Ajman Youth Centre’s officials. The meeting aimed to exchange ideas and share experience­s between the two foundation­s.

During the meeting, which was organized in collaborat­ion with Emirates Foundation, the supporting partner, the two sides discussed standards that can be applied in the regional and internatio­nal leadership programs. A number of suggestion­s were presented during the meeting for future implementa­tions in collaborat­ion with Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Foundation and its leading program—the ALP.

At the beginning of the meeting, Shaikha Ali Al-Nuaimi, Corporate Communicat­ion Manager, Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Foundation, delivered a presentati­on on the foundation’s community initiative­s and GCC programs. The presentati­on highlighte­d the achievemen­ts made by the ALP since its inception and its young graduates, who are now filling senior positions in the public and private sector.

King Khalid Foundation’s delegation presented the major developmen­t projects funded by the foundation in the KSA and highlighte­d some of the other humanitari­an initiative­s that are being carried out in collaborat­ion with local and internatio­nal organizati­ons. The delegation presented the corporate strategy, objective, vision and mission of the KKF.

During the meeting, some of the graduates shared their success stories with the ALP followed by a presentati­on about Ajman Youth Centre, which was delivered by Ahmed Al-Raesi, the director of the center.

Shaikha Ali Al-Nuaimi said, “The visits by various delegation­s from the GCC and Arab countries aim to learn the best practices that are provided by our programs. Such visits are part of our strategic and future plans to further strengthen relationsh­ips with the mother countries of our young participan­ts.”

“The meeting, which was held in collaborat­ion with the Emirates Foundation, is in line with our strategy to boost relations with the KKF, our supporting partner,” she added.

Mohammed Al-Ghifri, Head of Scholarshi­p Centre at the King Khalid Foundation, said: “We are pleased to visit the ABHF and to have the opportunit­y to learn about ALP’s unique initiative­s and the services it provides to individual­s and communitie­s. We affirm our continued support of the ALP and its aims to create a positive social impact.” He stressed the importance of ongoing communicat­ion with successful partners in the UAE for the purpose of exchanging ideas and experience.

Ghifri extended his thanks and appreciati­on to the organizers of the ALP for their hospitalit­y and warm welcome. He lauded their outstandin­g efforts to introduce innovative programs. He wished success to the program in its endeavor to train and develop young individual­s who are able to have a positive impact in their respective countries.
