Bee’ah announces first month’s winners of ‘Bee’ah Rewards’ amidst the program’s growing popularity

Bee’ah, the Middle East’s leading and awardwinni­ng environmen­tal management company, has announced the first month’s winners for ‘Bee’ah Rewards’. The CSR program, which is the first of its kind in the region, rewarded UAE residents for their recycling efforts in February. The program was launchedla­st month and is open to the general public.

This innovative rewards system is linked directly to Bee’ah’s equally revolution­ary app which can locate the nearest and newest Reverse Vending Machines (RVM). With the launch of Bee’ah Rewards, users that download the app can participat­e in the initiative and potentiall­y win exciting prizes. Participan­ts simply deposit plastic bottles and aluminum cans in an RVM to receive a receipt code which must be scanned using Bee’ah’s app. RVM locations have been strategica­lly placed in malls, government institutio­ns, universiti­es and airports throughout Sharjah and Dubai. Current RVM locations include: American University of Sharjah, Dibba Al-Hisn Municipali­ty for the eastern Sharjah and Dubai Marina Mall with Al-Qasba and Al-Majaz to follow soon.

The proud winners for the first month are as follows: Marcia V Said won the grand prize of a trip for two to Italy, Mohamed Ali Blal won an iPhone SE and Lady Lyn De Honor Balleras acquired the coveted Nespresso machine. Other winners included Kul Bahadur Samat, Precy Rachelle Talal Tubana, Alice May Cordero Teves, Angelopaul Aquino Arocena and Rohan Rajesh Kapur, all of whom received movie tickets.

Every participan­t in Bee’ah Rewards is eligible to win prizes, whether they are UAE residents or visitors to the country. With the success of Bee’ah Rewards’ first month, the environmen­tal management company is confident of doubling recycling rates in 2017.The program’s popularity in its first month is a sign that Bee’ahRewards has already gained the interest of the public.

Using Bee’ah’s app and RVMs to recycle now will enter participan­ts into March’s draw with a chance to win a trip to France, ‘At TheTop’ tickets forBurjKha­lifaand many other exciting prizes. As public interest in the program increases, which is simultaneo­usly developing a culture of recycling, Bee’ah is looking forward to expanding Bee’ah Rewards across the UAE and the region.
