Man arrested with forged traffic stamps
A police patrol approached the car of an Egyptian man who seemed nervous. He claimed he had forgotten his wallet at home, but when officers wanted to take his fingerprints, he drove off. Backup police searched for the car in the area and found it with the suspect inside. When the car was searched, forged traffic stamps were found. He confessed to using them to forge transactions in exchange of money. He was also found wanted on three financial cases worth KD 36,000. He was sent to concerned authorities. Thieves caught Farwaniya detectives arrested two bedoons and are looking for a Gulf national who formed a gang to steal cars. An interior ministry statement said after several complaints were received about the thefts, a task force was formed, and information led to the arrest of the two suspects, who confessed to committing several thefts in various areas of Kuwait. Both had many sets of keys they used to steal the cars. They said that they got rid of the stolen cars in open yards and markets and led police to them, where 26 cars were found.
KD 250,000 debts
Farwaniya detectives sent a bedoon to the civil sentences implementations department as he is wanted for debts worth KD 250,000. A security source said detectives learned about the whereabouts of the suspect in a furnished flat, so they went there and arrested him.
Fight
Competition over selling used cars started a fight between two bedoons, resulting in one of them sustaining fractures and wounds that led to bleeding. Police and paramedics rushed to the area and found the two bedoons had fought as they competed to buy a car from a man, and the dispute escalated to exchanging blows. Meanwhile, two citizens had a dispute over money and exchanged blows, leading to a gash on the head of one of them. The injured man brought a medical report from Adan Hospital to the police and lodged a complaint. Detectives are looking for the other man for questioning.
