Minister of Public Works Abdulrahman AlMutawa signed yesterday a pair of contracts dealing with the construction of a rainwater drainage network and road repairs, at a collective cost of KD 9.8 million ($32.17 million). The first project, worth KD 1 million, entails the overhaul of a rainwater drainage network in AlAhmadi and Mubarak AlKabeer governorates, where the system will be closely examined to detect any malfunctions, a statement by the Ministry of Public Works noted.
