Interior Ministry honors martyr

KUWAIT: The sea borders sector, in the presence of Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Sea Borders Affairs Major Gen Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf AlSabah, honored the family of martyr, non-commissioned officer diver Abdullah Othman Al-Dousary, in recognition of the sacrifice the late officer had given for his country. The building of the diving and rescue units was also named after him.

Campaign

Detectives carried out a campaign in Kabd to make sure the area was free of unlicensed weapons and ammunition. The department said such campaigns will continue and will cover all areas to secure the society against the danger of unlicensed weapons.

Cooperation

A delegation from Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) visited the Director General of the Public Authority for Disabled Affairs Shafiqa Al-Awadhi to discuss the procedures of launching the program of inquiring about disabled persons during fires and the possibility of its improvement.

Separately, a mock evacuation exercise was held at Saleh Shihab Secondary School in Mishref by the civil defence. KFSD, medical emergencies, Najda police and the traffic department also participated in the drill. The exercise was successful in its procedural, preventive and training goals
