Four-legged birds

Ihave to admit that I had been plagued with something I cannot get rid of despite knowing why. This is a confession that needs some explanatio­n with a hope to find some of you who can advise me on how to get rid of it. Thanks be to Almighty Allah that it is a man-made plight. This plight lies in people who wrongly believe that I write about them in my articles or on social media. They believe I care about them. Well, they have to understand that they are not the ones referred to because ‘there is more than one bird in my trap!’

Therefore, those misled by thoughts or suspicions and believe that they are the ones I mean in my writings have to know that I never pay attention to minor things, much less about insignific­ant people. I do not even notice their presence or existence. So, if they are spreading rumors that what I write is about them, let them know that they will never get such an honor and the ones I refer to know for sure what I mean. So, I do beg the attention of those poor ‘birds’ who are trying to make it seem like they are more important than their feeble sounds: rest assured because you are the least of my worries and concerns. They have never been a dream I tried to interpret because my dreams are much larger than them. May almighty keep true birds singing and rid us of those who mistakenly believe they are birds while they actually walk on four legs.
