Zain awards ‘Company Program Competition’ winners
Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, awarded the winning team of the ‘Most Innovative Product’ category at the INJAZ Company Program Competition for university and school students. The event came under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr Mohammad Al Fares. Zain Kuwait’s Corporate Communications and Relations Director Waleed Al Khashti awarded the ‘Youth Creation’ team for winning the ‘Most Innovative Product’ category prize for universities. Zain’s participation in the competition came in line with the company’s strategic partnership with INJAZ, and in line with its Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility strategy, which aims at contributing to the development of the youth and education sectors.
Zain continues its strategic partnership with INJAZ, through which the company seeks to support and inspire the youth from across Kuwait’s universities and schools. Through their partnership, Zain and INJAZ organize a number of educational initiatives all year long to foster the energies of Kuwait’s youth and support them to further develop and prosper.
INJAZ’s ‘Company Program Competition’ aimed at encouraging students, from across Kuwait’s universities and high schools, to come forward with their innovative ideas and print a positive change in the society. The competition includes a number of phases, and educates students to make use of business opportunities, launch products, create an added value, and becoming young entrepreneurs.
INJAZ Kuwait was founded in 2005, as a non-profit, non-governmental organization, driven by Kuwait’s private sector. Through strategic partnerships with Kuwait’s business and education sectors, and with the help of qualified and dedicated volunteers, INJAZ delivers educational programs on entrepreneurial and leadership skills aimed at inspiring and educating future generations. INJAZ Kuwait is operated by INJAZ Al-Arab.
Since 2005, INJAZ-Kuwait reached over 40,000 students, through 3000+ volunteers at 60+ schools and universities to provide students with knowledge and experience that will assist them in their personal and career development.
