KIB strategic sponsor of 9th Kuwait Info Security conference, exhibition

As part of its ongoing commitment to provide the most secure banking services, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently sponsored the 9th Kuwait Information Security conference and exhibition, organized by the Central Agency for Information Technology and ProMedia International. The conference is held at the Radisson Blu Hotel (SAS) and is attended by a large number of international risk experts and IT professionals.

The two-day conference discusses the many challenges of electronic warfare and cyber threats, methods of building an effective IT defense strategy for business continuity, and highlights essential cyber infrastructure in smart city security. Featuring experts from leading local and international companies, the conference provides the opportunity for the exchange of cutting-edge technological solutions and applications within the field of information security.

On this occasion, Basil Adib Al-Suwaidan, Head of Information Security at KIB, said: “As part of the its leading social responsibility program, KIB continues to sponsor conferences such as these, that aim to shed the light on the importance of information security in the banking sector.
