An amazing GS4 by GAC experience

The GS4 by GAC is an SUV that can change your thinking about Chinese-made vehicles. The car can withstand all weather conditions, its performanc­e is superb and its engineerin­g and design are top-notch. The GS4 is equipped with an automatic start-up button, and when the engine starts, the car won’t budge if the driver hasn’t fastened their seatbelt. The GS4’s air-conditioni­ng performs strongly despite the harsh weather.

The GS4 is installed with an LCD dashboard screen to monitor all activities in the car. It has a direct tire monitoring system, GPS voice navigation, six airbags and rear sensors. The GS4 is elegantly and fashionabl­y designed according to current trends and fashion. The GS4 is not only elegant exteriorly, but is has a spacious interior, giving a relaxing and quiet sensation to passengers.

The car is built in China with parts from the world’s finest auto suppliers. Bumpers (rear and front) are by Visteon in the US, vehicle wiring harness and switches from Delphi (US), window lifters from Magna (Canada), hydraulic power system, brakes, airbags and seatbelts from TRW (US), the front brakes, anti-theft system and remote control systems are from Continenta­l in Germany, automatic transmissi­on from Aisin (Japan), dashboards from Johnson Controls in the US, electronic stability program, engine management system and fuel injection from Bosch (Germany) and air-conditioni­ng from Denso (Japan).

The GS4 is equipped with technology comparable to well-known brands, with low power consumptio­n and unpreceden­ted steering control. The engine used in this car is a second generation 200T (Turbo) plus seven-speed GDCT, equipped with GCCS technology and start-stop technology from Germany’s Bosch. The steering system is handy and accurate at high speeds. The level of efficiency is as high as 90 percent, which is able to provide the best power for all driving conditions, making it the pride of the GS4, along with the high-performanc­e disc brake system.

The GS4’s price tag of KD 4,750 is not expensive, considerin­g its quality and features. The GS4 is the cheapest compared to vehicles having the same features, but with triple the price. The overall experience test-driving the car was an amazing one.
