Premier Sport Academy celebrates successful season

The Premier Sport Academy in association with Everton FC and under the sponsorship of Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company and Elite Sports Direct, held their Gala Presentation Evening Season 2016-17 at the Marina Hotel this week.

More than 450 players and guests filled the Salwa Sabah Al-Ahmad Theatre and Hall for the celebratory gathering, which was attended by the Guest of Honor Group Captain Finlay McLean, MA ,BA, RAF, Defence Attache, British Embassy. The event convened with the playing of the national anthems of Kuwait and the United Kingdom. Over 140 of these players, aged from 6 to 18 years, were nominated by their coaches to receive awards in several categories, including: Most Outstanding, Most Improved, Most Sporting, Top Goalkeeper, Top Trainer, Coaches Award and Centre of Excellence Team Player. These players demonstrated an abundance of hard work, dedication, commitment, high standards of performance and conduct over the course of the season to earn their rewards.

Many surprise gifts including return flights to Europe with KLM, Electric Skateboards, Segways, Golf Sets, Sports Equipment and Gift Vouchers were also provided by the awards sponsors, Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company, LSH International (member of Al-Homaizi Group) - Sports Direct , KLM Royal Dutch Airlines , Marina Hotel and Sebamed. Porsche model cars, Sports Direct Gift Bags, Ride Vouchers for Fun Quest Family Entertainment Centre, Fahaheel and Sebamed gift bags were also given to all award winners. DJ Marcus Fernandes from Human Encounter ensured all the tributes were accompanied by suitable musical soundtracks.
