Marriott Hotels in Kuwait hold food donation campaign

As part of their ongoing ‘Spirit to Serve our Community’ initiatives, the JW Marriott Kuwait, Courtyard by Marriott Kuwait, Residence Inn by Marriott Kuwait and Arraya Ballroom organized a charity drive to donate a wide range of food items to Kuwait Red Crescent. The main goal behind it was to support the Kuwait humanitarian society’s efforts to help the less fortunate and underprivileged families in Kuwait.

The donation was handed to representatives from Kuwait Red Crescent by Cluster General Manager of Kuwait Marriott Hotels, Mr George Aoun and members of the Associates Relation Committee (ARC), as part of their ongoing efforts to support the local communities by engaging in activities that promote social awareness. Over the years, Marriott Hotels Kuwait has established a reputation for serving the society with active involvement in many local charities and organizations such as the Kuwait Centre for Autism.

Marriott Hotels also organized various blood donation campaigns in cooperation with Kuwait Blood Bank. Through these regular activities, Marriott Kuwait aim to spread awareness in the local community on the importance of serving as a good example that upholds the value of the community as a whole.

George Aoun, Cluster General Manager of Kuwait Marriott Hotels, said “teaming up with the Red Crescent Organization for a good cause reaffirm the corporate social responsibility of Marriott properties in Kuwait. “We hope that our spirit to serve initiatives will help people whose conditions didn’t enable them to have a fulfilled life. At Marriott Kuwait, we are very committed to making a positive change in our local community.” Mr Aoun added.
