MAGGI Diaries continues its journey to inspire Arab women in its fourth season

-

MAGGI Diaries returns in its fourth season with new ambassadors to continue spreading hope and inspiration to women across the Middle East region after having received an overwhelming response in the last three years with its journeys across KSA, UAE, Jordan, Italy, Turkey, Oman, Morocco and India.

Commenting on the launch of MAGGI Diaries, Jessy Abdul Nour, Marketing Manager at MAGGI said, “MAGGI is a part of every home and it has come a long way from a simple cooking ingredient to a woman’s trusted partner in the kitchen. It is our mission to inspire women to make a difference through every day cooking, and it is with this premise that we launched MAGGI Diaries 3 years ago to celebrate the cultural and culinary journeys of real women across the region.”

MAGGI Diaries started as a digital platform that enables culinary engagement, andunveils stories of exceptional women of change, overcoming various challenges to make a difference in their communities, all while exploring new and healthy dishes for them and their families.

The new ambassadors, Marwa Salem a presenter and actress, Louloua El Eazza, the brainchild behind Loulou’s Kitchen and Zahra Abdullah of ‘Cooking with Zahra’ are working towards a common goal: To amplify the impact the “Women of Change” already have in their communities, share their stories and pave new waves of success for them in their journeys.

This year, the journey started in Egypt, a country rich in culture and heritage, where the ambassadors met five women of change during their journey: Noha Nabeel Al-Baz who has dedicated her life to work towards reviving organic farms and saving them from closing down; Amal Fahmy, who promotes gender equality and fights sexual harassment by educating the younger generations; Maha Helaly, a mother of an autistic child who opened a center to help autistic children integrate back to society; Sarah Moussa who visits poorly funded orphanages to help provide them with their needs and Ola Ismail, founder of Ibrahim Badran foundation, who has dedicated her life to providing medical services to the less fortunate communities of Egypt.

“With MAGGI Diaries, we are tackling important topics such as obesity, human rights, child illiteracy, domestic abuse and refugees. The show gives a voice to the ‘Women of Change’ who are an inspiration to other people around them, which will in turn incite women in the region to make a difference in their lives and the lives of their loved ones,” concluded Abdul Nour.

The brand announced recently its commitment to simplify 100 percent of its ingredients to include only what people have in their kitchen cupboards - ingredients they know and love. The 12-minute episodes is aired every Tuesday at 12:30 PM on MBC1.
