Xerox in collaboration with KRC celebrates the Joy of Gergian

In the light of the spiritual month of Ramadan Alamana Industries (Xerox - Kuwait) and Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) organized a visitto The Social Care Center to celebrate Girgian with the orphans, handicapped, and elderly. Employees from Xerox had volunteered to spread the happiness of Girgian with the residents of The Social Care Center by giving away treats and organizing fun filled activities in collaboration with KRSC. This community-based activity reinforces the company’s human values and strengthens its social role in society. Gergian is a very important event in Kuwait, as it is an old tradition that is loved by both children and adults.

Commenting on this occasion, General Manager of Alamana Industries (Xerox - Kuwait), Ayman Mattar: “As Ramadan is the month of giving back, we were keen to participate alongside KRSC to share the joy of Gergian with the residents of The Social Care Center. Our objective is to put a smile on the children’s and elderly’s faces by celebrating together with them. Being of such an initiative is in line with the social responsibility to giving back to the community we operate in. KRSC is a well-reputed non-profit organization that lends a helping hand to all members of the society, and gives us great pleasure to work collaboratively with the organization.”

The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is a voluntary humanitarian society that provides assistance to those in need. Initiatives by KRSC is aimed to support and offer aid to less-fortunate individuals. Its main strategic goals revolve around initiating projects that provide aid to those in need such as orphans, widows, elderly and special needs.
