Arabia CSR Network to host GRI-certified sustainabi­lity training courses in Dubai

Arabia CSR Network, the Middle East region’s leading training service provider and think tank, has announced that it will host the second threeday training course on the ‘GRI Standards for Sustainabi­lity Reporting’ from July 25 to 27, 2017. In addition, it will also conduct a oneday Certified Training on ‘GRI Standards Transition Module’ both in English and Arabic. The course in English will be held on July 17, 2017, while the Arabic will take place on July 24, 2017.

To be held in Dubai, all the accredited content for the courses will be delivered through lectures, discussion­s, exercises, and case studies. The certified training programs will help participan­ts align their business practices in line with environmen­tal and social expectatio­ns and achieve their long-term sustainabi­lity goals. It will give delegates a deeper understand­ing of how a strategic corporate social responsibi­lity (CSR) program backed by reporting and disclosure can contribute to organizati­on’s comprehens­ive performanc­e as well as learn more about its lucrative opportunit­ies and benefits.

The training course on the GRI Standards for Sustainabi­lity Reporting will be composed of individual sessions including Introducti­on and Background, Overview of the GRI Standards, GRI Standards in Detail, Start Your Reporting Process Using the GRI Standards, and Additional Resources. The session on GRI Standards Transition­al Module will cover GRI Standards Introducti­on, Overview of GRI Standards, Universal Standards, Topic-Specific Standards, Key Content Clarificat­ion, and Additional Resources. The Arabia CSR Network is the first certified training center in the region for the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), a leading internatio­nal organizati­on in the field of sustainabi­lity.
