ABK successful­ly equips 7 branches to better service the special needs segment

KUWAIT: Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) recently announced that it has successful­ly completed equipping seven of its branches to better service the special needs segment and facilitate their banking experience. The branches are located across Kuwait’s six governorat­es to ensure maximum reach and customer support in all areas.

ABK’s Head of Complaints and Customer Protection Unit, Ali BuHamad, stated that this initiative allows ABK to fulfill its main objective, which is to provide banking services to all clients, with no exceptions and commit to the Central Bank’s instructio­ns.

He added that the branches that have been fully equipped to service clients with special needs will allow them to manage and finalize their banking matters smoothly and safely, since ABK has put forth specialize­d teams that have been trained to practice sign language, in addition to braille printing services for visually impaired clients. ABK has also made available parking spaces near the banks entrances and ramps, to facilitate wheel chair movement when entering the bank or utilizing the ATM machines. BuHamad also clarified that ABK has provided 7 ATM machines that are equipped with Braille key boards and an audio jack to support the visually impaired and offer verbal guidance and instructio­ns to simplify the execution of their banking transactio­ns, with the utmost privacy and security.
