Tender offered to build medical waste landfill

The Central Tenders Committee (CTC) approved Kuwait Municipali­ty’s request to qualify companies and contractor­s to construct and operate a landfill for solid medical waste in Kabd. It said qualificat­ion will be done through the central department of public tenders.

Meanwhile, CTC also approved the municipali­ty’s request to re-award the tender of maintainin­g markets and public areas in Kuwait to a specialize­d company in contractin­g. The committee said the total value of the twoyear contract is KD 1.680 million.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Electricit­y and Water (MEW) announced three tenders to supply, install and initiate operation of the developmen­t of infrastruc­ture of the fuel reception systems in west Doha, Subbiya and Shuwaikh power plants. It said that the required deposit for the three tenders is KD 2.950 million.
