Ten­der of­fered to build med­i­cal waste landfill

The Cen­tral Ten­ders Com­mit­tee (CTC) ap­proved Kuwait Mu­nic­i­pal­ity’s re­quest to qual­ify com­pa­nies and con­trac­tors to con­struct and op­er­ate a landfill for solid med­i­cal waste in Kabd. It said qual­i­fi­ca­tion will be done through the cen­tral depart­ment of pub­lic ten­ders.

Mean­while, CTC also ap­proved the mu­nic­i­pal­ity’s re­quest to re-award the ten­der of main­tain­ing mar­kets and pub­lic ar­eas in Kuwait to a spe­cial­ized com­pany in con­tract­ing. The com­mit­tee said the to­tal value of the twoyear con­tract is KD 1.680 mil­lion.

In the mean­time, the Min­istry of Elec­tric­ity and Wa­ter (MEW) an­nounced three ten­ders to sup­ply, in­stall and ini­ti­ate op­er­a­tion of the de­vel­op­ment of in­fra­struc­ture of the fuel re­cep­tion sys­tems in west Doha, Sub­biya and Shuwaikh power plants. It said that the re­quired de­posit for the three ten­ders is KD 2.950 mil­lion.
