Tender offered to build medical waste landfill
The Central Tenders Committee (CTC) approved Kuwait Municipality’s request to qualify companies and contractors to construct and operate a landfill for solid medical waste in Kabd. It said qualification will be done through the central department of public tenders.
Meanwhile, CTC also approved the municipality’s request to re-award the tender of maintaining markets and public areas in Kuwait to a specialized company in contracting. The committee said the total value of the twoyear contract is KD 1.680 million.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) announced three tenders to supply, install and initiate operation of the development of infrastructure of the fuel reception systems in west Doha, Subbiya and Shuwaikh power plants. It said that the required deposit for the three tenders is KD 2.950 million.
