The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) launched the third session of Summer Internship Program 2017. A two week courses custom-made for high school and college students aged between 15 and 20 years. The Summer Internship Program is made up of four different sessions, five-hour daily over two weeks each. The Fourth session starts on the 13th of August as scheduled in the program.

It is worth mentioning that since the inception of the program, LOYAC is participating in NBK’s annual summer internship program for the first time this year. LOYAC will be offering students educative training programs that aim at developing knowledge and responsibility towards society.

The Summer Internship Program features a mixture of theoretical and practical training dedi- cated to provide the interns with valuable knowledge on a variety of subjects such as: teamwork, creative thinking, the means of self-expression and modern banking, in addition to helping them having a greater exposure to daily banking work procedures.

This annual program demonstrates NBK’s longstanding social involvement as well as its national commitment towards providing young generations with the appropriate opportunities to experience how the actual professional banking issues and transactions are handled and processed. It has been 16 years since the establishment of this program. NBK views the Summer Internship Program as an extension to its educative initiatives and as part of its corporate social responsibility.
