Clean Fuel Project 86 percent complete

KUWAIT: Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation (KNPC) completed 86 percent of its Clean Fuel Project at the end of June, said the company’s Deputy CEO for projects Abdullah Al-Ajmi. KNPC has completed the fifth gas pipeline by 57 percent as part of the project and the project’s electric network is ready by now, Al-Ajmi said in an interview with Al-Jareeda newspaper. The current fiscal year, ending in March 2018, will see the completion of the project’s main vital parts including gas reserves in Al-Ahmadi port, he noted. The project is set to be fully launched by 2019, he added.
