Huawei brand se­cures top spots in YouGov In­dex im­provers list

Huawei’s brand love and rep­u­ta­tion as a com­pany has been grow­ing from strength to strengthin the Mid­dle East, proven by the lat­est YouGov 2017 Brand In­dex Rank­ings. For the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year, Huawei has se­cured rank 3 in the UAE Top In­dex Im­provers list, with a sig­nif­i­cant im­prove­ment of 50 per­cent in its in­dex scor­ing. In theKing­dom of Saudi Ara­bia, Huawei ranks sec­ond place, with an in­dex im­prove­ment of 87 per­cent. By con­sis­tently en­hanc­ing its brand rep­u­ta­tion and scor­ing year on year, Huawei has been win­ning a firm foothold and recog­ni­tion in the re­gion. The In­dex Rank­ings show the brands with the high­est av­er­age In­dex scores be­tween July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017.

The ‘brand health’ rank­ing takes into ac­count con­sumers’ per­cep­tions of each brand’s qual­ity, value, im­pres­sion, sat­is­fac­tion, rep­u­ta­tion and whether they would rec­om­mend the brand to oth­ers. “The Huawei Con­sumer Busi­ness Group is com­mit­ted to de­liv­er­ing in­tel­li­gent de­vices that an­tic­i­pate users’ needs and fit more or­gan­i­cally into the way peo­ple work and live,” says Gene Jiao, Pres­i­dent of Huawei Con­sumer Busi­ness Group, Mid­dle East & Africa. “Look­ing ahead, Huawei ex­pects to spur con­tin­ued growth as the com­pany pushes its de­vices fur­ther through in­no­va­tions in ar­ti­fi­cial in­tel­li­gence and ma­chine learn­ing that will drive the new ‘smart era’ for­ward.”

Huawei re­cently signed a mem­o­ran­dum of un­der­stand­ing with The Ex­ec­u­tive Coun­cil of Dubai to be one of the first smart­phone com­pa­nies to in­tro­duce Dubai Font to its users. The part­ner­ship is a fur­ther tes­ta­ment to Huawei’s com­mit­ment to spear­head­ing cul­tural and tech­no­log­i­cal in­no­va­tions for its con­sumers in the re­gion.
