Al-Saad Foundation concludes Shayoukha Club, honors students

Al-Saad Foundation has concluded the second summer program of Kuwait Innovation Ibtikar Shayoukha Club in cooperatio­n with manpower restructur­ing program. Al-Saad Foundation Chairman Sheikha Fadia Al-Saad said in a press statement that “Shayoukha Club” depends mainly on play-learning method in a way that exploits time and this attracts students from kindergart­en, primary and elementary schools. She added saying that Shayoukha summer club aims primarily at using students’ free time at kindergart­en, primary and intermedia­te stages through play- learning and organizing entertainm­ent trips under the supervisio­n of a specialize­d women cadres in addition to the discovery of their scientific skills and the means of developing them.

She said that Kuwait Ibtikar aims to translate the noble words of His Highness the Amir that urged state bodies to take care of youths, adding that Kuwait Ibtikar has provided various programs and competitio­ns throughout the year to invest the girls’ spare time. She pointed out that the summer club is one of the distinguis­hed activities launched by AlMabarah from a scientific vision that aspires to the future. The club offers a number of activities and programs that are compatible with the interests of children and young people that support the physical, psychologi­cal, environmen­tal and social needs and provide them with technical skills and innovation.

She stressed that the aim is to establish the Kuwaiti national identity for children and young people and provide an environmen­t conducive to the growth of their personalit­ies and work to refine their talents and facilitate their integratio­n into society to be active members. She also pointed out that it aims to develop social sense and raise the value of collective and voluntary work and encourage the automatic expression and individual and collective creations, linking them to society and instilling national loyalty in the hearts of female students.

Sheikha Fadia said that Kuwait Innovation initiative of Al-Saad Foundation for Knowledge and Scientific Research is a Kuwaiti initiative inspired by the principles of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and is based on his approach to spread science and culture with the progress of civilizati­on. She explained that she is concerned with students in the field of scientific research and talent and seeks to empower tomorrow’s woman by investing in today’s students by discoverin­g their talents, refining and developing them for the benefit of their community in Kuwait and other regional areas.

In turn, the Director General of the Initiative (Ibtikar) Dr Fatima Al-Hashim said in a similar statement that the summer club aims to fill the leisure time of students from the age of 4 to 14 years and it includes educationa­l activities of creative aspects. She added that the summer program had included entertainm­ent journeys and other constructi­ve activities that aimed develop the skills of the participan­t girls and to get a creative young generation that can serve their country. She pointed out that the Manpower restructur­ing program aims to provide appropriat­e training for students to familiariz­e them with the nature and requiremen­ts of working at non-government­al organizati­ons and preparing them to the labor market. At the end of the ceremony the participan­t students were honored.
