Simple tips to look stylish this summer

Kuwait Times - - LIFESTYLE - By The Real Fouz

Summer to me is all about laying back and really enjoying the moment instead of spending too much time getting ready or worrying about how I look. It isn't very difficult to look pulled together. Here are a few tips that will save you a lot of time and have you looking and feeling at your best this summer. 1. Pair a bold lip color with a classic black/white outfit:

Pairing a bold lip with a classic black or white outfit is one of my favorite looks. If you take a scroll through my Instagram, you'll notice I do this a lot, especially during the summer. I love the combination of minimal make up when I'm tanned, paired with a bold lipstick like a classic red or a bright pink or purple. It can instantly make you look like you've spent hours on your look when in reality it takes only a few minutes to achieve this look.

You can also wear a casual t-shirt with a pair of plain or ripped jeans pairing it with a matching pop color for the shoes and lips. For example, my recent look in Monaco, a plain t-shirt with ripped jeans worn with a pair of red/orange pumps with a similar lip color was a cool look that I really loved. 2. Follow a summer trend: The Print trend

Print trends are one of the most popular trends seen during the spring/summer season and one of the easiest to follow. From stripes to floral to bright colors, its always fun to incorporate a printed piece to spice up any outfit. Even if you're spending your day at the beach, go for a colorful printed or patterned beach dress which will make it look like you've put more effort into your look than going for something plain. Bright colors also compliment a tan very well. The Cut out trend

Shoulder cut outs are one of my recent favorite trends. I love the added detail it gives to any outfit and how it can transform a plain outfit into something much more. There are so many different variations to this trend like elbow cut outs, waist cut outs, and so much more that people can follow depending on the look you're going for. It's also a great way to look trendy when your in a rush and don't have much time to put an outfit together. 3. Let your hair do the talking:

Never underestimate your hair ladies, because it can really make or break an outfit. Many times a fun hair-do with a simple or plain outfit can totally transform the look. Anything from a half bun to braids to a messy topknot can really change your overall look. My personal favorite is a half bun because it is very easy, takes no time and stylish at the same time. Always remember that looking good doesn't always have to take a lot of time, it's all about the little details that can make or break a look.
