Ahli United Bank appoints Tareq Muhmood as Senior Deputy CEO

Ahli United Bank (AUB) has announced the appointment of Tareq Muhmood in the position of Senior Deputy CEO - Banking Group. The role covers Corporate Banking, Treasury, Retail Banking, and Private Banking and Wealth Management. Muhmood will report direct to the Chief Executive Officer.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from The University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Muhmood possesses an extensive experience in banking and related financial services gained through a 23 year career working in a different countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
The appointment of Muhmood reflects AUB’s established policy of strengthening its professional team with highly experienced bankers in order to maintain a strong management structure and the solid institutional organization that the Bank has always enjoyed. Speaking on this occasion, Richard Groves , the Bank’s chief Executive Officer said: “I am delighted to welcome Tareq to our senior management team.
