All-new MEGANE by Renault Al-Babtain arrives in Kuwait

C Sedan sets the benchmark in compact saloon segment

Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain Co, the authorized agent of Renault in the State of Kuwait is proud to announce the arrival of its all new MEGANE, a C Sedan, thereby expanding the Renault range. Designed to accommodate customers who enjoy success with a distinct social appeal, the new C-segment model brings with it record breaking roominess and a boot volume reaching 503dm3.

Strengthening the brand’s position in a market where compact saloons remain the preferred choice among many, the New Renault MEGANE is equipped with generous space for its occupants i.e. dimensions of 4.63m long and 1.81m wide, and a record wheelbase in its class of 2.71m. Owing to its dynamic styling and advanced features, the new MEGANE represents the next level in the compact saloon category.

The new MEGANE shares many styling features with its larger sibling Renault TALISMAN, including its lighting signature which is visible night and day like the front C-shaped lighting signature features LED 3D-effect light guides & the rear LED lights that form a unique horizontal 3D-effect signature featuring Edge Light technology. Travelling comfort is further enhanced by the careful attention that has been paid to the interior finish, to the quality of the soft-tothe-touch materials, which are within easy reach of the driver and passengers. The new MEGANE presents a wide range of unique features ranging from a configurable 7-inch TFT colour screen instrument display and the R-LINK 2 multimedia tablet available in two formats (7inch landscape format, or 8.7-inch portrait format), as well as MULTI-SENSE. With the assistance of MULTI-SENSE technology, the driver is able to adjust the engine sound with a choice between three different settings: Neutral, Comfort and Sport.

Ensuring complete customer satisfaction is met, another feature that sets the high-end model apart is Easy Trunk Access (ETA), a handsfree boot opening system that works by detecting movement underneath the rear bumper. Additionally, the new MEGANE is equipped with Blind Spot Warning (BSW) to ensure safe overtaking maneuvers.

The new MEGANE also benefits from the very latest driving aid (ADAS) technologies that also equip Renault’s high-end models (Talisman, new KOLEOS) like Easy Park Assist which caters for three different types of parking: parallel, perpendicular and angle; Rear View Camera & Front, rear and side parking sensors, cruise control & speed limiter.

The new MEGANE is also furnished with the latest-generation electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, braking assist, electronic brake force distribution, hill start assist, and tire pressure monitoring system as standard equipment.
