AUB sponsors the ‘Service is My Joy’
Ahli United Bank (AUB) announced the sponsorship of the “Service Is My Joy” Program within the framework of its strategic partnership with LOYAC Kuwait for the second consecutive year. The Bank’s latest alliance reflects its effort to reinforce its extensive range of community activities and underlying support for Kuwaiti society.
The ‘Service Is My Joy’ initiative helps support various social segments. The initiative involves participants aged 16 and above taking part in volunteering committees and collaborating with a number of volunteering centers such as KAACH, Paradise Institute and Abeer 2. Throughout the program, activities range from learning how to perform first aid at the Kuwait Red Crescent Society to providing support services for the elderly.
On this occasion, Richard Groves, AUB’s Chief Executive Officer received Fetouh Al-Dalali, LOYAC Kuwait board member, at Ahli United Bank’s head office in the presence of Tareq Muhmood AUB’s Senior Deputy CEO Banking Group , Mariam Al-Mudhaf AUB’s Head of Employee Relations and Mrs. Ninnar Al-Qames, community services Manager at LOYAC Kuwait. Richard Groves said, “We are delighted with the new partnership agreement between the Bank and LOYAC.
This new tie up will result in a wide range of diversified activities in the near future, to further our objective of supporting Kuwaiti society through meaningful partnerships between financial institutions and a promising younger generation.” Groves went on to mention that more activities and initiatives will be undertaken to reflect the Bank’s strategic aim in furthering its social responsibility as a financial institution. Furthermore, Fetouh AlDalali, said, “We are proud of our renewed partnership with Ahli United Bank, and excited about the team’s overall positive spirit. It is evident that the Bank is keen to support and drive positive change by empowering the youth of Kuwait.
