KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah yesterday sent a cable to US President Donald Trump, expressing his condolences over the victims of Hurricane Irma, which continues to hit Florida. “Kuwait sympathizes with the American people over this catastrophe,” read an Amiri Diwan statement, which expressed confidence that US officials would be able to overcome this natural disaster. His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah both sent similar cables.
