Ahli United Bank wins ‘Best Islamic Bank in Kuwait 2017’ award

KUWAIT: Ahli United Bank (AUB) has won the prestigious “Best Islamic Bank in Kuwait 2017” award from Global Business and Islamic Finance Magazine. The award was earned through a number of achievements that AUB has achieved recently, including being one of the safest Islamic banks in Kuwait, as well as receiving A+/A2 ratings from three internationally recognized ratings agencies.

On this occasion, Richard Groves, AUB’s CEO, expressed his pride that AUB won this coveted award, which is the third distinct recognition the bank received during 2017. Other awards the Bank has won include the ‘Best Digital Bank 2017Award (Global Finance magazine), and the “Best Bank for Private Banking Services and Wealth Management in Kuwait” for 2017 (the Banker magazine).
